A great day out to London for all the family to visit the famous living legend that is HMS Belfast, now the only surviving vessel of her type to have seen active service during the Second World War.  HMS Belfast is now moored on the River Thames between the Tower and London Bridge and is now part of the Imperial War Museum and the first ship to be preserved for the nation since Nelsons' Victory. On board admission is included where you will get the chance to explore 9 decks of living history from the Captain's Bridge to the sailor's mess deck, operations room and engine rooms, the ammunition storage, kitchens, radar room and truly awesome gunner computer, as well as getting to hear her battle stories and experience what life was like for her 950 crew

Both interior and exterior scenes for ITV's major drama series Downton Abbey were filmed on location here at stunning Highclere Castle, home to the current Earl and Countess of Carnavon.  Built by Sir Charles Barry, builder of the Houses of Parliament, Highclere demonstrates Victorian splendour at its very best.  We have included admission to the Castle, magnificent grounds and the "Egyptian Exhibition" which is held amongst the Castle's cellars featuring over 60 artefacts that were discovered by the 5th Earl of Carnavon, who together with Howard Carter dicovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in 1922
